The moment the film ended, the black guy sitting next to me said: "That was fucking stupid!"
I cackled. Is Jordan losing his grip on the culture?
>white cloud
>it kills black people
got any more brain busters?
I liked it. It’s literally tremors (1990) but with a ufo.
I'm just sick of the sight of these fucking thicklips coons on the posters for all this purse-mouthed nigger's films. Better he die.
Yeah, tremors and Jaws, I agree. I liked it, but goddamn is Daniel Kaluuya a charisma-free wall of an actor.
What was the gordy connection? I find it hard to believe we had an entire subplot and a relatively important side character who had his own scenes just continue the same theme as the rest of the movie
An animal being exploited for entertainment got triggered into attacking everyone around it just like the alien.
Excuse me? This is too based for this thread
>Worst part: everything else
that is established by basically the first scene of the horse freaking out and that connection is basically just related to Jupe who tried to use the alien for entertainment later on. There is basically no reason for the main guy and emerald to antagonize it unless specifically for revenge that it killed his dad (which is a motive the movie definitely doesn't support)
I agree that it wasn't totally necessary, but it was incredible filmmaking. Extremely unsettling and all shown from the kid's perspective.
Please tell me what was the deal with the shoe
I don't disagree, Nope would be a much more consistent and interesting movie if told through the perspective of Jupe, it is just pretty fragmented with him being shoved into the middle of it. Even the theme of exploitation makes more sense if Jupe was the protag.
Gordy did nothing wrong
triggered cumskins
idk man has somebody asked Jordan to explain it. Was it stuck in blood?
>subplot is more interesting than main plot
Probably one of the worst things a movie can do
Its more interesting than the main plot which is a problem.
Entirely too pretentious
