They don't make sitcoms like they used to. What a fucking golden age that was.

They don't make wigs like they used to either.

It's fun to watch his hairline unrecede over the course of the show.

I liked the receding hairline on him better, gave him a cool 'everyman' look.

HOLY COPE

I remember for a while there Thursday nights were
Community, 30 rock, the office
Louie and Always Sunny (when it was still good)

Community, parks and rec, 30 rock and the office was the best prime time lineup ever, and I won’t be convinced otherwise.

correct.

oh yeah I forgot about parks and rec

Happy Endings was also airing at the same time.

Happy Endings shit on very other show mentioned in this thread.

Parks and Recs fucking sucked

KOTH, Malcolm in the middle, the simpsons

I miss the gang bros

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out.

Community is my favorite friend simulator. It makes me feel things.

Are there even any good sitcoms on these days?

Archer, IASIP, and maybe even curb are past their expiration date. It doesn't even feel that long ago I could go on a torrent site and every other day there would be fresh sitcom kino out.
Now there's nothing, NBC used to be king of the sitcom and now there's just mr. Mayor which is a nothing show.
Fox cancelled the grinder and the Mick way too early and then never replaced them with anything new.
HBO used to have veep and silicon valley and now their biggest comedies are more 30m dramas like Barry. Occasionally Larry davids corpse will male a new season of curb but its well past its expiration date.
Fx has let archer and iasip go on for way too long and they need to green light something new.

The Righteous Gemstones is ok.

What We Do in the Shadows

It's true. Back in the 1970s, it was common to see men with thinning, receding, and balding hairlines in leading or supporting roles in television and film. Now, thanks to social media and "smart"phones amplifying male insecurities tenfold, every guy in Hollywood (and beyond) thinks they *must* look like a Pitt, Gosling or a Schwarzenegger instead of accepting the uniqueness and wabi-sabi in their lives.

This show makes me a real fat dog

this was the first episode I ever saw
I was confused
