Early 2000s movies

Why was this genre of movie so popular? Were normal people a different breed back then because I cannot imagine these kinds of movies being made in today's world.

I didn't know there was a third one
How shit is it

eurotrip and road trip aren't even related in any way

It was pre internet blowing up so yes. There wasn't infinite access to all sorts of explicit sexual material at the push of a button.

you just dont need this jewish degeneracy in movie form anymore because theres pornography and drugs readily available everywhere

This made me remember the movie Beerfest. Should I watch it again? It was pretty bad but I did finish it I think.

Internet porn wasn't that great back then, that was the substitute you could watch but it's also technically not porn so you don't seem as much of weirdo for buying/renting it

It was when the average joe had little to no access to the internet. All a nigga could get his hands on was skin flesh from movies you could buy or rent easily.

Really? They're right there together as a trilogy

Where my /Tomcats/ at?

they were just raunchy comedies for teenagers to early 20s
they are a reflection of the short period of "post history" the Western world found itself in after the end of the cold war
and the family friendly shit of the late 80s/90s was loosening up, hence the sex appeal and light debauchery

it's fine
I like Broken Lizard a lot, but they had better movies

>Were normal people a different breed back then
We were fucking rad bro we were god's chosen generation

hell no Beerfest is their magnum opus

The early 00's where far more sleazier than the 70's.

TPBP

the 80s were the peak of the sex comedy genre

>2000s
>pre internet blowing up
zoomer pls go.

If you have to ask you can't afford it

>70s
>rape in like every movie even non sex ones

>00s
>some party guy drinks a semen beer

much sleaze

>Librarian Dominatrix
Mhmm, yes

hes right
normies didnt start caring about the internet until 2009 when social media was on daytime talk shows

This picture bothers me. Road Trip came before Euro Trip.

Shut up retard he obviously means how every boomer and his dog has a facebook account now.

American pie is my favorite comedy

I don't care what people say about sexist bullshit. I love porky's, revenge of nerds etc ..
I am sure there will be audience for these type of movies still today. But whoever creates it will have a hard time .

>Why was this genre of movie so popular?
Can you really not figure it out?

Normies didn't really use the internet outside work/school until the late 2000s. That's when it all went to shit. Before that, internet for was for computer nerds

>social media = internet
this is not true, although there were social media platforms before you were born, zoom zoom

the fact that you learned how to read in 2009 didn't mean the internet blew up then

fuck sake, zoomers really think the planet was in the middle ages before the glorious gift of their birth to the world

Fast Times and Last American Virgin are the best of the era to me

yeah... no. even normies were using it in late 90s early 00s.

Internet porn wasn't widespread. Dialup was the norm. This is a pointless debate because you are just feeling argumentative.

everyone was more laid back and didn't take things so seriously, the late 90s/2000sit was a reaction to the late 80s religious right FCC church marm parental advisory stuff

I'm watching Fraternity Vacation right now.

No they didn't you dumb nigger

i didn't say anything about porn. normies were using email, ebay, forums etc.

this is a pointless debate because either
1) you are a zoom zoom who wasn't alive then
2) your definition of widespread is absurd
3) you live in a 3rd world country that actually was 10 years behind

read what i typed again

>if you didn't have a broadband sub you were not using the internet
each of your posts is dumber than the last

I was playing CS on DSL in 1999, pal

it's 2 then.

Sure.
