and WHY. what would a restoration do for this film?
Better image and sound, presumably some nice extras. I like the idea of a slasher in snowy mountains.

OH BABY, TELEPHONE

Something recentish and unknown

Avp
AVP

Loved it ofc, likewise The Shining, both masterpieces
Also like Cold Prey movies abnd Dead Mountaineers Hotel, which is more of a mystery-scifi
Wolf of Snow Hollow has nice winter settings and could have been much better without some wokeish bs, particularly the way the white male main character is heavyhandedly written
what inspires the fascination with the cold? do you live in the cold?
I do but in this case it's because slashers often take place during summer vacations, summer camp etc, the snowbound setting is interesting to explore narratively
SBACE BENIS
Speaking of which
I like the mask, but it basically looks like a real version of the one from nightmare before Christmas lol
Another one I enjoyed a lot: The Lodge, wonderful sense of place
Can anyone help me with the title of a film I'm trying to remember? Basically it's a vampire film set in a hospital, I remember one scene where a female vampire is filing her teeth to be sharper in front of a mirror.
watched that one yesterday
Interestingly, as the movie goes on he uses only parts of it, works very well in the sense of showing the villains fragmented/twisted persona
Considering releases from the past 12 months or so, the only 2 actually good horror movies were this one and The Sadness imo
