There are 2 big problems and 1 small problem with this film.
Big ones are overload of CGI and tone all over the place so it feels more like a mockbuster or a parody than a main release.
The small problem is that Jackman was simply too young to play Van Helsing. Helsing should be much older, something between 50 and 60 years old at least.
