I mean, out of all the races in America... Polish, Russian, other eastern euros, even black and East Asian...
Why did Italians dominate the scene? What was so special about them?
Or do they just have the biggest mouths?
Because they copied the Jews
>Why were *Italians* so successful at starting the largest criminal empire?
There, I corrected it for you.
They're not, the italian mafia is a secular institution that is barely kept alive by the descendants of those founded it. Nowadays finance scams are way more profitable and safe
Come on guys. Im looking for better answers than this..
the mob still exists in shitaly
The jewish mafia was the most powerful, though?
Not many people realize it but Italy is the world capital when it comes to organized crime. If you put all the Italian criminal organizations together, they’re by far the most powerful in the world.
t. Italian
They're a bunch of scummy rats who murder, betray, and steal.
Because they were literally used as deniable street-level assets by the CIA and FBI
Imagine asking This bunch of fucking losers
You should buy a fucking book for once in your life you stupid internet age piece of shit
Wogs trying to be tough is hilarious.
historically speaking jewish/russian mafia made more money
Italians had contacts in Italy where alcohol was allowed during the prohibition era.
They made large amounts of money smuggling in alcohol during said era.
Italian mob grew more powerful due to making all that money. Later on they started investing in casinos to make even more money.
That's basically the gist of it.
The big crime organizations are not italian-american, they're Italian. It's the italian-based organization that has a worldwide influence, not the locally based families in the US. According to glowies, the 'Ndrangheta is the most powerful crime syndicate in the world, it's based in Calabria. American mafias are powerful but are not comparable to worldwide syndicates.
I don't want to have to read 2000 pages to understand simple concepts you idiot
Ok, well I’m gonna give it a try.
Unlike all of the other ethnicities that poured into America starting in the 1870s, the Italians were the only ones that had an ancient, structured criminal subculture that was already dominant and influential in their homeland.
Ironically, the Italians started to be dominant here only after re-implementing that criminal tradition with all its rules, ranks, and modus operandi. Their early attempts (the Black Hand in urban centers and the Famiglia Vagabonda/Wandering Family in rural mining communities) were not as effective and could be muscled out by other ethnic gangs and the law.
The fact that Italians made a large demographic in many key industries (construction, transport, food) allowed the mob to infiltrate these fields and the connected government bodies overseeing them: unions.
Thanks
Just weird how the other races didn't take advantage of that as well
Because southern italians are the best at whatever they try to do, be it art or crime, it doesn't matter.
>southern italians
You mean moors?
