Anne Hathaway says they must go to the doomed planet of her dead boyfriend because love is an irrational force acting through her which transcends time and space. The part you didn’t get is that the entire journey of Cooper from beginning to end is scripted by future humans to save humanity. Cooper’s relationship with his daughter is just another rational element they use to manipulate space from their status as beings outside of time.
Murphy’s Law states that everything that can go wrong will go wrong and the film shows that actually what can happen is always happening, time is an illusion of the human psyche, the events in time always exist simultaneously. Only in time do events seem to pass and change so outside of time beings can author their own events.
