its an original story not based on an old fairytale. its like the only modern fairytale story. it has fantastic real seeming characters and a story with lots of twists and turns instead of the standard formula. totally subverting the love story with Anna and making her more awkward, and Elsas entire storyline are just so well done- amazing music too!
