Just finished watching the last 2 episodes, fuck this show is poorly written.
Firstly, why the fuck can't they kill off any characters? Don't tell me Black Noir because he literally was not a character in seasons 1 and 2 just a prop. A-Train and Queen Maeve should've died, both of them sacrificing their lives to be heroes would've been quant and also ended their arc to get the ball rolling for the final season (season 4 better be the last one, I swear to god).
Broader plot-wise, this whole season has been predictable from episode 4. Homelander lives through the season because Soldier Boy is actually the greater of the 2 evils, the guy who we think is going to take down Homelander but wait, he's actually a Nazi who threatened Ryan and must be killed.
Hey... that was the plot of season 2!
What really fucking pisses me off is that Butcher would even fucking hesitate when he could've killed Homelander then and there.
Butcher who had to kill many just to get Soldier Boy to this very spot, suddenly, doesn't like Le murder. At the exact same time Kimiko kills 3 men doing their job in cold blood.
The Boys have killed so many more than Homelander, if we actually do a kill count throughout the series of him and The Boys, The Boys would win in a landslide.
I defended Butcher even after last season but this final episode killed his character for me. Fuck this show. I hope Homelander kills these terrorists and him and Ryan can live happily ever after.
