They're going to call Kim a biz-natch, and she'll snap and kill them. That's why she was vacuumed.

>Critical
opinion discarded

I think Kim is going to be implicated in Howard's murder and go to prison

These scenes always crack me up because I immediately think of Mike posting god damn it

It's literally the best show on TV right now, and Rotten Tomatoes is just a yes/no "good or bad" survey

the music during this part was great

I thought she was going to kill decoy gus and get caught by her fingerprint on the doorbell

That's not your call.

MY DADDY AND MY MOMMY
AND MY DADDY AND MY MOOOMMEEE
DA-DA-DADDY AND MY MOMMY

Ok seriously wtf can they actually do in the last few episodes that'll clear up or make us forget the absolute retardation of this episode

It was out of character for Lalo to not kill Jimmy. There was no reason for him to let Jimmy live if he intended on just using him and Kim as a distraction

is dis white bih fo real?

Attached: 1657518231278.png (1920x1080, 688.5K)

only problem I had with the episode is that Lalo had like fifteen minutes to just shoot Gus, find the lab and leave. but no he has to do the cliche villain monologue. who cares if the kill wasn't satisfying enough, Gus being dead and finding the lab is all you want. all Lalo had to do was after killing Gus' 4 solid guys, he makes him open up the lab. from there you're good; shoot him and then capture the evidence with your vlogging skills but no, Gus has not just literal armor but plot armor too so Lalo has to job and monologue for fiteen minutes and let Gus make a move.

rest of the episode was kino though. seeing howard be buried with lalo was genuinely moving. he didn't deserve any of this.

-ased

I'm pretty sure it was a remix for a song that they play when they're doing pollos hermanos cool stuff in BB?

Why do people want Mike to be infallible? Such a dumb criticism to have of this episode.

>oh no the horrible murderer psychopath is dead I'm so upset
>meanwhile I am forgotten

Kim dies in the plane crash.

How the fuck would they do that? They obviously never found his body.

Why is Lyle so passionate about working at Los Pollos Hermanos? Like calm the fuck down it’s a shitty burger joint.

also those four bodyguards had the slowest reaction times in television history

And Jimmy just keeps going as normal?

Stop

So, what other show(s) do you watch besides BCS? Ongoing, ideally.

Attached: 1657602017376.gif (500x630, 868.95K)

Wasn't the sniper watching his shadow spaz out from behind the blinds? Unless something else was moving inside.

to be fair Breaking Bad had this kind of writing as well. It just hits harder because some characters literally cannot be killed in BCS.

let the mikeposting begin

Attached: solidforce 2.webm (1280x720, 2.98M)

Gus is most likely a father figure to him.

Yeah!

Attached: Saul-Yeahman.jpg (1914x1080, 183.65K)

Bringing back the plane crash is my line in the sand
I liked this episode and the season so far but it would genuinely ruin the show for me. S2 of BrBa is brought down heavily by that shit in my eyes.

Likely scenario is the guilt eats away at her and she commits suicide or goes crazy and goes to the mental asylum.

This show would be way better if Breaking Bad didn't exist. Is there anything you really need to know from BB that isn't explained in BCS? Like imagine if BB didn't exist but this show stayed the same, what wouldn't make sense.

I actually thought for a moment that maybe she would wrestle away a gun from somebody and kill that guy right as she's being escorted out of the house to meet Jimmy when everything has already been solved, just for maximum tragic irony

probably gets paid more than other jobs considering his boss has to launder a shit ton of drug money
also Gus is an actually great boss

Yeah because they part ways and split. He never found out.

those 4 guys who got immediately shot by lalo weren't very SOLID

I was more annoyed with this than (one of) the twins not finishing Hank off while he was down.

He’s solid

He obviously has had a hard upbringing and is working very hard to move up the ranks rather than go to college. Why be a pissy loser like the rest of fast food joint staff who are destined to go no where?

Does that even fit timeline wise? The plane crash happens in the middle of breaking bad.

Rhea Seehorn from the hit comedy Shaggy Dog.

If this was written in the BB era and AMC still had a decent budget they would've given Lalo a kino death involving him getting crushed to death by heavy machinery in the lab or something cool like that, and that's all I wanted

i better get a "lyle realizes he worked for the largest drug kingpin in the southwest" scene

>let's not spook em
>SHAKYCAM INTENSIFIES AS THEY RUN UP THE STAIRS, PISTOLS DRAWN
i've seen better acting on some CSI knockoff. but i guess this is the power... of the best written drama on TV by far according to redditors itt..................................

Attached: 1649473498631.gif (315x315, 1.71M)

I was thinking she might turn herself in to atone

my guess is he sponsors a scholarship or something for Lyle

Is wearing a black coat and having no discernable emotions besides looking perpetually tired/pissed off a requirement to join the solidforce?

Who's other shows, Jesse?

>we don't want to alert anyone in the apartment complex
>HUT TWO THREE FOUR HUT TWO THREE FOUR HUT TWO THREE FOUR

Lalo needs to find out the truth about his attempted assassination, he literally tells Jimmy

Every screenshot of this episode is so dark I can barely see shit

>t.Not up to pollos standards

>S2 of BrBa is brought down heavily by that shit in my eyes
Kim dying in the crash recontextualizes it though and gives it a meaning now, because before it had no real impact.

Anyone who unironically thinks there's gonna be any merging of the BCS-BB timelines in the next 5 episodes is actually retarded

where's the episode 9 promo

Mike took his guys off Jimmy and Kim in the last episode.
Lalo isn't nearly as smart as he is made out to be when his success at infiltration has been nearly 100% coincidental. There's no way he would know the Mike's guys weren't watching at exact moments and it happens a couple of times.

He planned on leaving as soon as Kim had moved, easily had time to kill Jimmy and move on to the next phase of his plan. Instead, he ties him up and fucks around for literally no reason.

Gus tried to keep up appearances, so he probably pays his workers more than the average fast food joint
worth the cost in the long run to have everything go smoothly

He's your average Chick Fil A manager. Devout Four Square Christian, longtime girlfriend, saving sex for marriage kind of guy. He has a bright future as a missionary in Thailand with his wife some day.

Just finished the episode, what's the consensus?
It felt comical to me. It was like they were going for a western vibe? With dumb shit like Gus continuing to pull the trigger after he'd emptied the revolver.

Attached: 1413545374092.jpg (225x225, 12.44K)

Also it's not like Jimmy poses any particular threat to him either way at this point. He knows he can kill Jimmy any time he wants

Where can i torrent this episode

I feel like this was foreshadowed with the police scene on the road. She wanted to say something but they'll never catch her even if she's in plain sight, the light goes from red to a green that's almost blue as she drives off into the night, into the color associated with law

it's symbolic of the episode contents. bravo again, vince.

>It was like they were going for a western vibe?
Nigga have you even seen Breaking Bad

best episode so far

Rhea Seehorn's butt is actually really firm.

shouldn't have put him and gus together like that, ruins all tension when you know one character literally cannot die. i liked nacho's ending but would've been better to save him for a final lalo confrontation instead of mary sue chicken man

> only problem I had with the episode is that Lalo had like fifteen minutes to just shoot Gus, find the lab and leave. but no he has to do the cliche villain monologue. who cares if the kill wasn't satisfying enough.
Wouldn't be the first time

> It was like they were going for a western vibe?

Well it was a Vince episode. He must love westerns.

Walt and Jesse cameos are already confirmed Einstein. Personally I doubt there will be much overlap that actually takes place IN the BB timeframe but we’re gonna get a few scenes at least.

You've clearly never been in a shootout before. When your adrenaline is up that high it's not that unnatural to do shit like that that would seem silly if you were thinking straight

Fredbros..... at long last..................... we won..

> OH N-

Attached: Picsart_22-07-12_02-05-58-483.jpg (1439x2428, 920.61K)

It's probably too spoilers for a preview. Either all Gene timeline or all BCS timeline. No one wants a whole episode of Jimmy and Kim being too tired and shaken from what happened to function at their jobs.

>It was like they were going for a western vibe?
2/10 bait

Updated

Why wouldn't Lalo kill Jimmy?

The way Howard and Lalo laid in that grave was a little uh... how do you say...

Breaking Bad Saul is confirmed, he’s literally in the trailer for this half of the season. The next episode is the last one for this era.

Attached: 45F4A47C-B69D-4266-B614-268112E62B23.jpg (750x725, 102.2K)

best part of the episode was the Kyle scene.

where my Kyle Chads at?

>Mike: Its pretty likely someone saw his car outside your apartment so you better have your story straight
>Also Mike: walks around with 10 suspicious looking solid guys with their guns drawn on the night Howard disappeared

I've worked lots of fast food, food service and retail jobs and met plenty of uppity fags who act like their shitty wagecuck job is incredibly serious business and that if they just have a good can-do attitude they'll definitely get a promotion and run the place one day

I've also met plenty of retards like this that've been stuck with that same shitty job for years and have maybe gotten a couple raises at best

Mike telling Kim and Jimmy that they're going to use the bullshit story about Howard being a coke addict that they created as part of the reason for his death, and then tell them that they're going to have to keep telling people Howard was a cokehead even afterwards was 10/10. I saw someone say they didn't get the impression Mike was rubbing it in their faces but his behavior when they're burying the body says it all. Plus there's his whole "he wasn't in the game" hang up he's mentioned before. But yes Lalo's death could have been a better, but I liked the smile he gave before his death.

Attached: H.jpg (400x400, 30.31K)

this post got me thinking
is there a reason S6 is so much more darker (like literally, can’t see half the shit if it’s not on full brightness) than the earlier seasons? hell season 4 was still relatively colorful, S5 onwards it looks like they purposely want you to strain your eyes looking at dark shot after the next

his name is Lyle, fakeass fan.

i mean, if they intended to solve the primary conflict of the last season and a half in the first episode of the second half of the last season, it begs the question: why wasn't this episode in the first half? just deal with the aftermath in the second half. there seems to be no clear direction forward from this point.

The impact is
>Walt kills Jane
>Jane's father gets depressed
>Doesn't do his job right
>Hundreds die (indirectly) because of Walt

yeah agreed. also makes both shows seem like much smaller worlds with how all of these characters are interconnected in unrelated ways

Lalo's death was completely fucking retarded. Here, I wrote a better ending in five minutes:

>Lalo sneaks into the super lab. He already knows the entrance is hidden in one of the machines, because he took Gus to one in the shitty ending, so he uses the same powers of observation that lead him to the laundromat in the first place to find how to move the machine and go into the underground area.
>Lalo shoots his shitty little video for Don Eladio and escapes victorious. He has beaten Gus.
>Lalo has to escape back to Mexico with Gus hot on his tail. It takes a lot of effort but raggedy and worn from his entire adventure AND having to go back to Mexico again, Lalo presents the video to Don Eladio
>Don Eladio goes like "We know. Ese pollero pendejo se cree muy listo" in his shitty spanish accent. "But when he finishes his little project... PUM!" Don Eladio points to his temple. "Just like his little boyfriend."
>Lalo is like "oh fuck". Don Eladio makes it clear that, for all Lalo's mind games, he was always right and the Cartel wants a Salamanca/Gus beef because it keeps them trying to surpass each other, which grows the business. To Eladio, both Gus and the Salamanca are essentially disposable so long as they can keep bringing in cash. But there's only one Gus and plenty of Salamanca. He couldn't have cared less about what happened to Hector and Lalo's little revenge quest.
>And then, since Lalo discovered what's up and can't be allowed to tell the other Salamanca what's up...
>Cut to the pool, just like when Gus' boyfriend was killed. We hear a gunshot and then Don Eladio's men digging a grave in the desert. They dump a body in there, cover it up and walk away. Not even a marker of who is buried there.

proxyrarbg.org/torrent/orpu5gc
Kek, yeah wrong choice of words. I mean the ebin showdown part of a western, which feels dumb as fuck in the Vinceoverse, not even Walt had that, he just scienced the shit out of that machine gun to beat the Nazis.
>You've clearly never been in a shootout before.
And you have?

To get the truth about Nacho

Now Gus has all the reasons to act as confident and no nonsense as he is in Breaking Bad. He literally killed his Boogeyman, he's untouchable.

I got it from BTN

need this sped up by like 50%

heterosexual

Yeah sure I can see the Walt & Jesse cameos happening but that's it. There's not enough time to get all the way up to the plane crash and no one wants to just watch BB again, that's just retarded

>No one wants a whole episode of Jimmy and Kim being too tired and shaken from what happened to function at their jobs.
I do.

Attached: 1657550357755.gif (220x345, 394.87K)

There are many hints Kim will an hero throughout the series

No, this actually makes it more confusing because Lalo establishes that he suspects of a connection between Gus and Jimmy through Nacho.
It's selectively naive again for him to just leave Jimmy there to wait for him.

He also wanted to send Jimmy away to most likely get killed and he said that the info on his assassination attempt didn't matter anymore.

It's wonky

yeah it was great to see Kyle again

Is she the only actress who got hotter with age?

not to mention he got a nice new refrigerator up the stairs and the old, blood covered one out. guess everyone in their apartment complex sleeps in a sensory deprivation tank

Well, no, but i have been in regular fights before and the same is true there, can only imagine how much worse it is when you're actually being shot at

Better Call Saul, Episode 8
>Written by Gordon Smith
>Directed by Vince Gilligan (Bravo!)
So was it the script or direction that you didn't like?

Attached: 1657602598527.jpg (600x579, 96.62K)

>car parked in the same spot for the whole night, versus
>a few guys walking around for twenty seconds
Mike literally says to split up so nobody draws suspicion.

put the donut down, bob

ywnbaw

What the fuck was the point of the decoy plotline? Nothing happened with that

I can't believe they killed off Lalo, Nacho and Howard early, just so they could rush to Walter and Jesse cameos because that's what redditors want.

What do you reckon the plan is for the coming episodes? i'm thinking 1 episode in bcs timeline with Jimmy and Kim going about business and having regrets over Howards death, maybe that'll cause kim to leave. Then 4 eps all devoted to Gene. i reckon the Jesse cameo and maybe Walt cameo will fit in next episode, like maybe Jesse (played by 42 yr old Aaron Paul) needs his new lawyer Saul to bail him out on something related his one asian friend he had at the start of BB.
