Retard. The show peaked between seasons 6-8. I agree with Hayes and the Muhammad incident though, they definitely contributed to the show's decline greatly.

By season 6 it was already formulaic, hence "Simpsons already did it" showing up halfway through the season. I liked those seasons a lot but they lack the charm of the older seasons. You literally see them dropping in charm in real time as the episodes release after those events happen.
