The little girls role in The Black Phone was totally unnecessary. She really added nothing to it. And the alcoholic father was a pointless character. The clairvoyant deceased mother was unnecessary. The whole family dynamic was pointless to the plot.
Also wish they would have elaborated on the devil mask a bit more.

Pretty good film in the vein of American Psycho/Nightcrawler (but not as good) but then the film makes the predictable current day choice turning the corrupt protagonist into the villain.
