I finished it satuday and it still holds up

Even the later seasons are pretty great. I just wish they had stuck to cel animation, it loses some soul when they go digital.

No shit!
If you didn't you'd be a filtered retard

After eight becomes very hit or miss

This is the most comfy show to watch before bed

What really sucks is how Fox made them serialize it. No major character development or plot changes. Still though, comfiest cartoon ever
>ywn drink beer in the alley with they guys

A lot of people had the wrong impression about this show and didn't watch it when it aired and like it now. Doesn't need a reboot though.

Good, drop it at the end of the Season.
Season 7/2004 is where the show starts getting bad.
Peggy is insufferable. In-fucking-sufferable.
Bobby is too modern doing flavor of the month stuff
Bobby and Connie aren't together anymore
Flavor of the month topics and progressivism
Lucky
Luanne starts being way more stupid, and whishy washy in her values.
Too modern celebrity cameos.

>Lucky
... is based.

Finished it for the first time last year, it's true about it being funny

>Bobby and Connie aren't together anymore
Saw that coming but still...

I suggest stopping after season 7.

I tried watching this when I was younger. I found it both boring, and slightly frightening and surreal.
Decided to try it again last week and I love it. Funny as fuck, wholesome, relaxing.

my go to comfy show, i probably avg about 4-5 episodes a week and have for years.

Peggy is my favorite character on my 3rd or so re-watch.
Here is why: you start to realize that in the writers room they ask the question "what would be the most narcissistic thing you could possibly say do or say at any given moment?" and then they had a competition to see who could come up with the best line or thing and just gave the line to Peggy's character.
really gives you a different perspective on her character.

The ONLY bad episodes are ms wakefield and dusty old bones

prove me wrong

I watched the episode where Bobby and Hank do the father son shooting tournament this morning and it made me cry.

shut up fag

Ms. Wakefield is based. It's such a darkly comic premise to have a nice old lady want to die in your house. My least favorite episode is probably the Renaissance Fair one, or the one where Bobby has allergies and lives in the dog house.

Used to dislike this show, but as I got older it became more relatable.

I dislike the myspace episode, then again I dislike everything social media related.

I love king of the hill. Upon my most recent watch i realized just how many episodes there are written where the main plotline revolves around characters not usually hanging out together, it's not just the adventures of Hank and his friends every week

I admit they are very cringe inducing. not in a the show is bad kind of way, but an actual emotional reaction to what is being depicted. The only episodes like that in the series actually. its why they stand out. I usually skip.

The Harlottetown one I just watched is fantastic. Of course you wouldnt want some degenerate porn awards show to be hosted in your town. I'm trying to raise kids here. No you wouldn't care about the potential tourist opportunities to attract more locals to your town. This show is mirroring my maturing socio-political sensibilities. I am becoming more conservative, and that is alright.

I can't watch "Bills were made to be broken"
>bill gets his HS touchdown record back
or
>alamo beer can contest episode where Dandy Don Meridith teaches Hank about letting go of the past.
without Almost breaking out in tears.
never even played football.

>t. Dusty old bones full of green dust

>No major character development or plot changes
The kids going through puberty adds a lot. Also the whole Redcorn saga.

i like both those episodes

what is the most based out of the these shows:
