You know, for a high school film class project, this actually wasn't that bad

Why is the shutter speed so low? All of that motion blur makes it look like a 90s camcorder.

Weren't her powers just that she can make her hands big?

How does her making fortnite platforms make her a superhero?

worst character design i've ever seen

wtf is this real?

cover up cheap and quickly done animations?
she's a cgi character for the entire shot

>actual suit
More SOVL in a single shot than in all modern capeshit ever released combined.

why does the roof bounces when she steps on it?

Where is her shadow?

Holy shit this looks like trash

Is this show still on? Lmao

Marvel is also a horrible place to work for VFX.

you fags should focus more on acting and story and less on effects

>All of that motion blur makes it look like a 90s camcorder.
Fuck right off.
90s Camcorders recorded in 480i60 and had smooth as fuck motion.

Marvel's not exactly good at those things either

Why is anyone surprised. It's hardcore post production syndrome. They backload all the work to the very end so they can make stupid arbitrary changed right up to the point where it HAS to go to print. It's why modern movies look like shit compared to older ones. Everything has to be captured in camera as flat, soft and desaturated as possible so when they inevitably go through 50 different versions of what will become the movie's final aesthetic they can add shadows, change the time of day, add elements to the foreground, background and characters themselves. It should be no shock to anyone that the VFX guys are getting flogged in apocalyptic crunches right before hard deadlines. The entire production is based around this.

>tfw an actual high school film project has more convincing CGI

Every big production company is a horrible place to work for

apparently, VFX companies are just refusing to work with them now. Probably Disney producer meddling at every turn.

This was physically painful to watch, jesus. Do they also diversity hire the special effects people? The stungs are totally divirsity quota so no need to ask that.

she's an american

Poor CGI on the shadow effects.

from what i've gathered this is very much a kids/teen series like Clarissa Explains It All

i grew up with shit like Goosebumps and The Demon Headmaster so i'm not going to expect top notch effects.

Don't they own ILM, the gold standard of VFX studios?

nah, it's a mix of VFX companies from before are just refusing to work with Marvel so you're getting low tier guys who were not first second or even fifth choice, it's a low budget TV series and Marvel/Disney themselves have fucked up work schedules that make it impossible to really get quality CGI produced, so it's all rushed.

Show is what i imagine a commercial marketing PREP to kids would look like

La Creatura

>Not even Kamela's actual power, it's generic crystal objects

Thanks for lowering the bar, user. Every little bit helps.

Phase 4 is complete shit. They better stop fucking around and bring in X-Men asap.

Henry Cavill as Cyclops and the MCU is saved.

word on the street is that Cyclops is going to be John Boyega

and what street is that, your mothers treadmarks?

The bar for "television special effects" has always been rock bottom, user.

I know these are meant to be Marvel features on Disney+ but that's all just marketing. The CGI in the movies is pretty bad. Willing to forgive it more for a TV show.

It may not have the best visual effects user, but it has soul.
