but it's indeed puzzling how nobody seems to have thought about the meaning it would have in English in the context of her dying. as far as I'm concerned Der Spiegel is shitty left-wing idpol agitprop anyway. they were supposed to have beefed up their quality assurance a few years ago after one of their journalists was caught having fabricated parts of articles for years, but apparently it's not quite there yet.
