So why didn't india become a superpower?
It even had a proper civilization before europe

Maybe it was Because of the British.

How were they less developed than the british by that time though?

farming != development, industry is and the place that birthed it, is the island the fat retard blames for india not being a superpower

most of that farmland is shit though
you see australia has a fair bit too but basically all our soil is mediocre to shit by world standards and the amount of water we get is very low by world standards. central location for the spread of tech and advanced organisation is important as well.

The countries with the best geography are the US, China, and France

>british show up in the 1800s
>still a shithole
When will the coping end?

Plus china had a big wall

Is this just due to purely natural factors or the fact that more developed countries are better able to exploit their resources?

Everything sucked out of asia at that time why leave

Every acre of rice gives more sustenance than every acre of wheat. India is the reL easy mode here. It even has mountain shields and is farther from steppeniggers than europe or china. Yet it still always got conquered and raped.

Sad but true

But doesn’t wheat have more nutrients then rice
Also beer vs rice wine
Who wins

that was due to them constantly infighting. Marathas were on course to unify the subcontinent again, but the Mughals came. even now you can see that the Mughal occupied areas are much poorer than the non mughal occupied areas.

do people in the guyanas eat?

Dude that’s the British
Mughals had 23% of worlds wealth
Punjab is way more rich then bengal

indian culture.

I think the most likely answer probably relates to India’s relative lack of easily navigable waterways. Europe has both the Mediterranean Sea and a number of navigable major rivers that facilitate the transit of goods to market. India is more bogged down. They have rivers but they’re less useful than the rivers of Europe

What? India had access to the Ganges and the Indus rivers, two of the most navigable rivers in the world

you could have asked the same thing about China 30 years ago, and gotten all sorts of philosophical answers. the current state of affairs is a historical aberration that is fast being corrected regardless of your copes about genetics or culture

India is right next to steppeniggers retard lmao. Mongol successor states conquered parts of India like 100 times and succeeded in uniting the entire country once. What do you think the word "mughal" means lol

Everyone always knew China was eventually gonna be a superpower while also knowing India will never be one though, just look at fictional media. In 1984 the three superpowers were representations of an Anglo power, Russian power, and Chinese power. In a much more recent but still prior to China's rise work there's code geass, which had an Anglo power, European power, and Chinese power. No one views India as a potential superpower outside of memes or wishful thinking. Even China at its weakest elicited fears of the yellow peril. There was never any brown peril.
