USA is responsible for everything good in the modern world

USA is responsible for everything good in the modern world.

*Invents GPS and gives it away for free
*Invents the Internet and gives it away for free
*Invents the airplane
*Invents the telephone
*Invents photographic film
*Invents anesthesia
*Invents the revolver
*Invents the repeating gun
*Invents the machine gun
*Splits the atom and invents nuclear power plants and nuclear warheads in one fell swoop
*Brings peace to the most warlike people on the planet, the Europeans
*Ushers in the most peaceful and economically prosperous age in human history
*Invents basically all modern forms of popular music
*Achieves cultural victory in less than 300 years
*Only nation to ever land a human off planet
*Even invents jeans and t-shirts which most of the world wears everyday

So why do Europeans hate it so much?

Imagine you had a kid who outperformed you in every single way and then put you in an old folks home.

The Chinese would like to have a word with you about that

landing on a moon is not landing off planet, you're still within the gravitational command of the mighty Earth.

Grim

why is he flying in reverse

That's a painting, the only photo evidence of it ever flew was in 1906, 3 years after the wrights brother. Cope and seethe

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
American science, everyone
Are we Earthlings somehow not on Earth because we're in the gravitational field of the sun? OP said landing off of the planet, which when landing on the moon is correct, the Earth's gravitational sphere is irrelevant for this statement

At the age of like 3 years old and you’re 34, to boot

1) Yes, it is. The Moon is a planetary body becuase it is rounded by its own gravity, and when you land on it, the gravitional force pulling you towards the Moon is stronger than the gravitational force pulling you toward the Earth. To land on the Moon is to land off-planet.
2) Everything in the universe is influenced by the gravitional pull of the Earth. But in certain regions of space (most of the universe), other nearby massive objects will exert a greater gravitational force upon you than will the Earth. That is, you will tend to be pulled toward nearby massive objects, and not toward the Earth.
3) When you are in the immediate vicinity of the Moon, its gravity will pull you towards it, and you will stay on it, and not be pulled immediately toward Earth.
4) When the Apollo astronauts flew to the Moon, when they were most of the way there (about 90% of the way), they passed through what was called equigraphisphere, a moment at which the gravitational force exerted on the spacecraft by the two bodies was equal.
5) This final point is unimportant, but technically Earth's Moon is capitalized, to distinguish it as THE Moon, our Moon, rather than the other moons in the universe which will never have the same cultural significance for humans.

the moon doesn't orbit the sun, it's a small rock that orbits the Almighty Earth. landing off planet would be landing on Mars or Venus, which would likely end in horrific disaster.

12 seconds counts. Stay assmad. :)

You didn't even post the correct aircraft, the 14-bis that you posted was built in the 1906. In fact, no one knows what the aircraft the "flew" in 1898 looks like. The aircraft that was described was "dirigible flight" so its probably some form of helium filled aircraft + some wings like pic related, which was taken in 1901 which is literally nothing impressive since, airship existed long before.

Que nojo deste país chamado Estados Unidos; oxalá esta merda caia de podre.

Each one of those are more terrible than the last
You don't suppose it's the exceptionalism?

Yeah all those achievements are nice but come at the price at the american people not living in a country that actually cares about them and their communities since god knows when. All this country's government cares about is helping people that arent americans and at best helping americans if it means positive economic interest

You arent american

Is the joke here that none of these are american inventions?

americans kneel before norways list of achievements

>Only nation to ever land a human off planet
not real, next!

could this be thirdy cope?

>*Only nation to ever land a human off planet
never happend
