Lol, to some extent, you agree with the American government. All of our environmental agencies are in line with Aldo Leopold's land ethic, having long abandoned utilitarianism. The only places where we still use capitalist approaches have tons of private land, and there we do stuff like offer tax incentives for ecologically congruent landscapes or let landowners lease out hunting opportunities (meaning they have to work with their county biologists). The extreme capitalists here literally call us fascist (this makes sense, I've literally created a concentration camp for animals, euthanized them, and buried them in a shallow grave). I don't know why we'd wait around for the communist dialectic eschatological habbening when we can just use the same farm tools we've had forever, Ghengis Khan could do it but we can't?
