I like bananas

Unironically love bananas but they are always either too green or too ripe here due to transportation

Bananas being green when you get them is a good thing.

bananas are vital to breakfast cereals. bananas at 47 cents a pound here

many thanks to our south american partners working tirelessly to produce that hearty bounty

Bananas are such a "nothing" food, I don't remember the taste of banana and I'm not looking forward to eating a banana, I'll eat it if it's there, but ultimately I do not care

Such is life in Russia, where even the fruits are dull and flavorless.

Not gonna lie I am jealous of "you can't believe it's not banana" substitute you guys have with mag and corn syrup in it

I live in California
I have fresh fruit and vegetables being grown miles from my home
You meanwhile eat 6-month out of date Chilean bananas (on rare occasions, because they're too expensive) that were frozen on a barge in the Pacific

banana are a great fruit, lots of sportmens eat them to get a boost like tennisman

I live Sochi and I have fruits and vegetables growing literally 10 meters away from me while you have to fight with homeless and spics for fentanyl and contaminated meat

I'm allergic to bananas

You forgot dodging Russian whores at any nice bar/hotel/restaurant.

Most produce is shipped from Mexico and most fruit is shipped from South America. Only in a small time frame of the season will your produce actually be produced in US and it's unlikely to be in California.

t. californian that actually pays attention to this

>not buying local produce from the farmer's market
Ask me how I know you're an Oakie bastard

I check what I buy and most of it is from CA, and Baja California. Berries are the only common fruit sent from Chile in the winter.

Most of my food is grown in Modesto, Vacaville, and the suburbs of Sacramento
If you buy out of season produce you're actually retarded

I have a banana tree in my backyard, pic related from last year. I usually give away most of them to coworkers. I used to have two banana trees but hurricane irma killed it.
