There's something likable and charming about rednecks while chavs are just completely repulsive. Could just be the accent.

Not the same guy, but the humour in that scene is actually somewhat subtle. It's not the dance itself that is funny, it's how uncomfortable the dance and his grunting makes everyone that is funny.
