Anime is a rip off of disney and it's cheap as fuck they reuse 1/3 of their frames and in the RARE chance you get something that's not shitty corner cutting you get some kino. But American animation even shitty kids cartoons like Steven universe are way more impressive from an animation perspective than most anime. Alladin makes Dragonball Z look like Blues Clues.
