You do know that EU and NATO are two different things?
It's not really about "Hungarians" or "Poles". The fact is that if we had different governments, let's say Hungarians had a liberal-socialist govt and we had a nationalist one (no, PiS is not a nationalist party, they're barely centre-right by our standards), then Hungarians would be in the vanguard of countries helping Ukraine while Poland could even unironically make agreements with Putin over dividing Ukraine and Poles would then also think they're the only smart and sane people in Europe
Same about Czechia and Slovakia - they have pro-Ukrainian govts now but they could have anti-Ukrainian ones if another party had won their election which was also possible.
