>japan but soulless

North is pretty much all economic hubs. Particularly Auckland/Waikato. They offer much more oppertunity than other towns/cities.

The South is more farming and remote communities.

Both are very beautiful but the landscape does differ a bit. Most of the epic landscapes you see in films are from the south island. The north is very green and has amazing beaches. I love my country but it does lack the economic opportunities of Australia/UK/USA/Canada but the fact that many areas outside of the cities are still massively untouched and the population is relatively small makes me greatful this is my home.

>economic opportunities
>UK
.

I heard your Abbos are cool unlike Australian ones is that true

mixed bag. some Maoris are cool, some will indiscriminately kill you on sight

I have lived and worked in the UK. Brits complain but the amount of work and the pay is both much better than here. Life is easy mode there compared to living in cities here, which is a prerequisite for any future.

Young brits have better opportunities (particular for working class families) than most countries yet still whine and are generally not very productive anyway. You can make £12 an hour working in a lidl ffs. This is what put me off brits desu, the most unwarranted arrogance I have ever encountered for a country where literally everything is carried by foreign labour. It's not a surprise immigration is so welcomed. If you can't make a good future for yourself in the UK you won't amount to much in another country rofl.

What said.

It's a real mixed bag. Rural and urban Maori are very different. There is an undercurrent of large methamphetamine and alcohol some Maori communities too. But like any group of people you have good and bad. I live in a very middle class area and they are very few and far between here.

I genuine and friendly Maori person can be one of the most warm people you can meet. Very outdoors and family oriented based on my experience. I would like to learn more about their culture but they HATE white boys.

>Japan has soul

Japan, like the rest of the world, is the definition of soulless, and it's been remade in the image of American culture since the 1940s - again, like much of the rest of the world

It has less in-tact history than America

New Zealand is soulless and irrelevant, and has no worthwhile modern culture, even. I'd be very jealous of countries like the US, the UK, or even France if i was from New Zealand.

US is better by a significant amount

>like the rest of the world is soulless

big typo, should've adjusted my post. Japan is soulless.

Japan post WW2 is no longer Japan. It is USA lite.

North - cucks, chinks, nigs, poos
South - white trash, chinks, nigs, poos

don't blame him he's just a loser seeking to externalise his failure

The USA is better than the UK for professionals and highly paid people, but your social safety net sucks all kinds of balls. Much better to be poor in England than America

I found it easier to get a good job in NZ than the UK to be honest. Not sure why so many kiwis are obsessed with moving to a country with an even more fucked housing and job market

yeah whites brits have a low productivity rate and shit grades in school (they are lower than nigerians and pakistanis) and then they complain about immigration. I don't even get it.

Everyone is poor and no one has any disposable income because salaries are 2nd world-tier but everything is upper-class tourist-town expensive since we don't produce anything ourselves and have to pay for it to get shipped from foreign countries to the end of the world. Also housing prices are retarded even by western country standards.

Most people have never left their island let alone gone to another country so they genuinely believe we are on par with places Norway or Switzerland in terms of quality of life
they also have a massively inflated ego about how important NZ is on the international stage and don't realise we are actually completely irrelevant.

Despite being a super woke leftwing country most people are actually very nationalistic without realising it, so if you ever point out any of NZ's shortcomings they get angry.

We have a small population, small landmass, aren't in a strategic location, don't have a large amount of natural resources (and refuse to utilize the ones we do) and the overwhelming majority of the things we produce are low on the value chain (lots of agricultural products, no high-tech firms, etc)

We relied heavily on international tourism which went to shit during covid and none of the locals have enough money to prop up our service industry.

It's safe I guess and if you're born here you won't have to worry about starving to death in a famine or civil war breaking out which puts it ahead of the majority of the world, but to put it on the same level as other western countries just feels a bit silly.

I'm pretty sure the government is trying to nurture a domestic IT industry because I was reading some government economic report where they basically outlined the same points I made in the 4th and 5th part of that post (except going in to far more detail obviously) and at least some people in positions of power do seem to actually be concerned about that and want things to change so hopefully soon we will move on from being an agrarian society to actually living in the 21st century

Because the greatest country in the world is right next to it? NZ is just a state of Australia and the Kiwis love coming here for BBC (Big Bruce Currency). Aw yis choice!

>, some will indiscriminately kill you on sight
Sounds like they're super cool

Like other guy said, it depends imo.
If I was a Comp Sci nerd, I'd pick the USA over Europe everyday. My friend works for Goldman Sachs in their Computing department and he makes 150k+ a year, and he's only 24.
But I'd much rather have the British NHS around for healthcare. I've dealt with American insurance, it's so fucking Byzantine and a bore to have to bargain and haggle with those fucking ghouls.

>Most people have never left their island let alone gone to another country so they genuinely believe we are on par with places Norway or Switzerland in terms of quality of life
eh I mean, what would a Norwegian have that you don't? Besides easier and cheaper access to tourism in Italy and shit
