This show desperately wanted to be a comfy dramedy about a shady lawyer and his various grifts. Instead, we get that for 20% of the time and spend the other 80% of the time as a breaking bad origin story and misc cartel bullshit.
What they should have done is make another spin off for Gus, Mike and Co. once those characters got introduced. The Redditors they’re pandering to love “cinematic universes” anyway and this would allow BCS the much needed freedom to become its own unique show.
