Yeah Starlight has become too self-righteous. Kimiko and Frenchie have become boring as well. But I've come around on MM this season. I can relate to the OCD. I don't think it'd make him that irrational on it's own but it's mixed in with trauma so I get it. And the husband character is annoying so the punch was satisfying but I like that they showed his remorse for doing that in front of his daughter. And MM has more involvement in the main plot because of his past with SB at least.

that's how i see it going too. hughie is gonna become disillusioned because soulja boy left butcher to die and because the temp-v is rotting his brain, so he'll join up with MM & starlight. meanwhile butcher is gonna take perma V, go nuclear with soulja boy (who lured homelander into a fall sense of security with the over-the-phone paternity test) and almost kill homelander and then BANG. noir jumps in, kills soulja boy, gets killed in the process, and homelander is gonna run off. leaving it on a cliffhanger for season 4.

I mean if they depower him he can just take perm V again. It's something I'd imagine they'd do at some point since they like to do things throughout the season, and then reset everything back to status quo afterwards. So I could see them depowering him, have fun for 1-2 eps with it, then him getting his powers right back and things are back to normal.
