If Quebec had another independence referendum todaywould the independence side win?
What would the implications of this be (for the rest of Canada and the world)?
If Quebec had another independence referendum todaywould the independence side win?
No, so none
yes easily
a US border with France with be extremely meme tier and France's GDP would increase by a fourth overnight just due to trade with the United States.
>If Quebec had another independence referendum todaywould the independence side win?
Not really
>What would the implications of this be (for the rest of Canada and the world)?
If Quebec somehow got independence they would be treated like a pariah state
No. The Parti Québécois is basically a dead corpse at this point.
I would move back if they did
What's the point of referendums anyway?
>do an independence referendum
>lost
>ask for another referendum
It's a scam. Always ignore secessionist scum
>If Quebec somehow got independence they would be treated like a pariah state
not by us lol
>would the independence side win?
No.
>What would the implications of this be
Nothing, since it's not winning.
Only if the glowie 3 letter organization was behind it
>would they win
no lol the threat of independence has given them the position of holding the rest of the country by the balls
if they gave up that position they'd be
worse off and their politicians know it
What the fuck are you talking about, its Quebec independence not joining with France
Scotland is about to do it again
yeah but they'll immediately rejoin the EU, what's Quebec going to do, ride the Mercosur gravy train?
Their gibs will run out
You don't need any silly grouping to be a successful state. NZ, Aus, Singapore, Korea, and Japan aren't in anything and they are fine
quebec independence is pretty dead right now
great, more french to deal with
Shut up Irish scum
No because brown. Niggers and sandniggers vote to remain in Canada.
Quebec depends on equalization payments from the rest of Canada, like the lion's share of them, they only way it can afford it's relatively generous social safety network (by North American standards, western euros would laugh) if by suckling Ottawa's teet. In practice it would be a disaster, unless they join Mercosur and Brazil pays the bills.
I'm an Anglo-Quebecker
