What do these two groups think of each other?

Don't. Liege is like Charleroi but a little more civilized.

You're better off visiting Cottbus further away than Liege.

Never said that they were bad people, they just are impoverished (which is why some Flemings wish to break up the country) and those who move to Flanders often don't use the traditional local language as a sign of respect for local customs (meaning that I don't think it's fair to say that they are in general more respectful of Flemish culture than vice versa). But economic differences and disagreements over language policy in some border regions doesn't mean that people in Wallonia or Flanders are mean spirited towards each other or in any way bad people. There just happens to be some differences on the group level in perceived values and preferences on a few issues.

goeie grap. Ik werk ook in Brussel in een groot bedrijf en elke Waal of Brusselaar kent amper 2 woordjes Nederlands

lmao

>The parliament of Flanders is not in Flanders

LMAO

Reminder that Flanders has begged Wallonia to make Dutch a compulsory subject in Walloon schools for decades but Walloons simply refuse every time

meanwhile we are taught French from age 10 all the way till we finish high school and even still in many university degrees.

Flemlings wil speak French with you in my experience you just have to signal that you aren't French or at least a Walloon, lmao.
