suicide

Carmel?

Where else would it be?

Barstow

The redwoods are unmatched. Had a friend from Italy visit and she was in awe at the size of the trees and the beauty of the forest

very first house i bought in cambria was similar to this. california coast is not beautiful like other countries, and these small coastal cities have fucking nothing to do

There is everything you could want in Monterey and Carmel. Expect clubs. You can commute the hour to San Jose for that.

not him but I visited carmel and monterey, I wasn't impressed. I like santa barbara a lot more

Why

the two places were uninteresting to me, in monterey the big aquarium I wanted to visit was closed too. Santa Barbara had more going on in terms of leisure, I also found it to be cleaner and more peaceful. There's a unique aesthetic to SB that I didn't find in beach areas near Los Angeles or the Bay area.

Cleaner than Carmel?

yes from my experience

Its not dirty whatsoever.

I fucking love northern california. I hope to move there in the future. It is insanely comfy there.

Looks like the set from the last ep of Mad Men.

i’ve lived in sb slo and cambria, and been to monterrey. they’re ok if you want to chill but nothing going on is just a fact based on the population size and demo. anything you want to do that involves other people is irritating because you have to travel either to la (for me usually) or up to bay. and again cali coast is massively overrated by people who have never lived there. doesn’t compare to other places of similar price

It's weird. Oakland is actually mostly gentrified now or industrial. Sacramento is really nice. La is just too big now. Anything with Santa in the front seems be nice. Eureka is a fucking wreck. Pretty much everything north of Santa Rosa goes down hill fast the bums migrated north as la and San Fran are too hot. That or they went inland to places near Napa or Vacaville. Baker is just boring and meth filled but cheap. Santa Clara, Barbara, rosa are nice. San Jose is hit or miss, San Diego same thing. Did I miss anything
