>what is a median

>The nation that has no need of money doesn't have money

No.... Really? Shocking revelation...

The korean mind is not ready for a post-industrial revolution world. Their minds simply can't comprehend it.
Its a cruelty to do this to them.

I've noticed this trend. The message is always "too confusing to navigate so everything is permissible."
They as a society aren't ready for social contracts, its still an abstract concept for them.

they dont need food either, they've all attained enlightenment

>>capitalisum is .. LE BAD
This is a pedestrian perspective because your understanding of capitalism is only ever in juxtaposition to something like "communism" or "socialism". These are not grand organizing principles that we should adopt wholeheartedly at the expense of other, more important things. In other words, capitalism can be criticized without that critique being an appeal for communism or socialism. And either way, Parasite doesn't strike me as communist.

Looking at the United States, the marriage between capitalism and conservatives is probably the closest thing we get to a Jewish conspiracy. The erosion of social institutions like the Church, the community, and the family that is so often the complaint of conservatives (and believe it or not still some liberals) is directly a result of market forces. This is compounded by the atomizing and stratifying nature of capitalism, as now at least in the United States it is common for your employer to be a major social institution (at the expense of all others), just as it is common for wealthy people to insulate themselves from the horror (that they have a part in creating) in the cities. As an example, the Western Digital building in Irvine, CA (as well as most big business buildings there) has barbecues, a pool, a gym, a spa, recreation areas, and even an urgent care for employees and their families staffed with a MD. It's no wonder that the sense of common trust, purpose, reciprocity, and even civility in general is in such a disgustingly dreary state between people that live in the same country, state, city, neighborhood, etc, both rich and poor.

So if we look at Parasite more as
>the erosion of social responsibility, civility, and reciprocity, especially between rich and poor, is... LE BAD
instead of your way, it's a lot more interesting. Fuck trannies and LGBT shit though, which Bong is apparently into.

Its not more interesting, just different. Theres no social commentary worth ingesting as its korean.
There is nothing interesting about a family or a society at large falling into barbary. Not when its koreans.

>instead of your way, it's a lot more interesting
>proto-hominids break down mentally in a system actual hominids thrive in
>it's a lot more interesting
u wut m8?

What's your problem with Koreans?

I don't have any problem with koreans. My post makes it pretty clear they aren't worth consideration.
Its like being mad at the Sentinelese dudes, whats the point?

>they aren't worth consideration.
why do you think that?

The point of considering Koreans and their Any Forums on a Any Forums board is that it's relevant and their culture shares a significant overlap with our own. So we can make sense of and enjoy their movies.

im the user you replied to 3 times. Look...I don't think capitalism is immune to criticism. I tend to agree with that it might bring detrimental effects to society, especially culturally. Although I find it hard to deny that capitalism is the single most effective weapon against poverty, especially extreme poverty that inflicted most of mankind for most of its history. But I don't think this reasonable criticism of capitalism is what Parasite tries to convey. It tries to justify, or perhaps even encourage, hate among classes. It felt a lot like the director thinks the murder of rich people is acceptable. Juxtaposing the material suffering of the poor against the material comfort of the rich so strongly, as if the rich were guilty of it, doesn't lead to the reasonable direction for criticism, its just cheap class struggle propaganda. To be honest, I found the first 40 min or so of the film very good, still along the lines of reasonable criticism, but it just went completely downhill from there after they through that basement thing.

I don't really concern myself with most simian species. It doesn't matter if its bonobos, macaques, or koreans.

Koreans are never relevant to a discussion being held on the internet. They won't be here to defend themselves and the arguments made will only confuse them.
Its best to just not include them into a topic that is only going to make them feel lessened.
Humanity exists for uplifting, but its a grave injustice to uplift a society that is not ready for the graces you afford them.
