I watched it right after one of the lotr movies and what annoyed me the most was chara design of the elves. Not even the swapped races or new characters. In LOTR the elves glowed and seemed kind of sacred overflowing with wisdom. Their flowing hair and white robes gave them elegance. In rangz they behave just like humans and seem brutish and uncultured with that stupid zoomer hair cut
