AI-generated art won international prize

Artists aren't happy.
Personally i think it looks cool

it's not art if it's not created by a person.

Wait where is the representation. Eugh ai is so racist

It looks great if you look at it for less than 3 seconds, but the longer you look, the more incoherent it becomes.

Is this really generated? If so I'm very impressed.

It looks like most AI art I've seen, which mostly look like trash. All these ai image generating tools are way better in the hands of artists well versed in the language of artistic techniques and photography. As the scene is right now there's a flood of people hoping to sell their poorly produced, poorly selected AI art as NFTs.

Misleading thread, it won in the "digitally altered picture" category or something, basically for photobasher, and hardly an "international prize".

But yeah we're all fucked, this shit is depressing.
And morally questionable

yes, MidJourney is really good ai for stuff like this.
pic related is from the same ai

>h*manoids thought they'd be the ones creating art, making music and doing nothing in general while the robots will be doing the dirty work
>turns out the machine makes better art, YET it's the humans who are cleaning up the toilets and doing labor
it's over, flesh retards

nigga it's literally just an incoherent shroom shit
imagine being this blind and lazy to not zoom in the picture
also
>replace humans with robots
man westernoids are literally retarded, praising your own literal extintion. You do deserve whatever shit comes at you

another really good piece from midjourney

why? We separate arts from creators

It is pretty fascinating to see how it actually works.
It draws like an extremely observant and dexterous child copying something, it doesn't understand at all what it's drawing but amalgamates things that look like a grown up artist would do.
Like those little gibberish instead of actual letters, it's like a 2 year old pretending to draw.

Don't worry if AI takes over the intellectual tasks, there's still plenty to do for real humans.

Based. The age of fl*sh is over.

some of the AI generated stuff is incredibly impressive, though at closer inspection the details are usually blurred.
I look forward to seeing AI art development and implementation. Remember these old, text based internet choose your own adventure games? And recently even impressive AI generated scenarios in AI dungeon and such. Mix that with AI generated art scenes and you've got some really fascinating stuff with insane potential.

Butlerian Jihad soon.

I can't really discern what I'm looking at.

I've made many nudes with stable diffusion. But its greatest strength is as a tool to empower artists. And concept art.
