Objectively it's decent. But it's so fucking BORING

Yes it's amazing.
How is it boring?

You make permission threads, stick to your capeslop.

Yes retard, it's a masterpiece.

Zoomer take

Spielberg had magic Hollywood powers where he could have brutal bloody deaths of minors on film and then have it shown to kids the same age.

It was when Spielberg was untouchable (1970s) as popcorn Kino master. Probably his best flick where the fx don't get in the way?

Totally worth it for "we will need a nigger boat" line.

Fucking how. Even as a kid I found it engaging and I'm a zoomer.

It doesnt change scene every five seconds like a tiktok.

shit, I mean bigger. Damn autocorrect.

Great movie, but it's always at the back of my mind whenever I go in the ocean, so I would unwatch it if I could. I envy people pre-1975 who could just enjoy the ocean without ever having been exposed to the visceral imagery of a cinematic shark attack and that sense of dread. It was probably a very different experience.

Its worth it for based Robert Shaw.

The three main men are perfectly cast. Dreyfus is perfect and Roy Scheider is always a delight in all his roles.

Fuck yes.

Kids in the 80's weren't as fragile as they are today

It's a fantastic movie. Only saw it for the first time about 40 years after it came out.

yes it is, zoomer
