I would if I didn’t just finish it in New York Minute
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Based, came here to post this.
Also based.
The Big Lebowski
Interesting. I mean you’re right, I just never thought of it that way.
Here's my top ten. I'm including neo noirs, don't care if you don't think Taxi Driver isn't a noir, it has all the fixings of one right down to the moody narration.
Also, I haven't watched The Third Man in like 15+ years. It'll probably make the list once I rewatch. Also, Vertigo is a noir, but it's a Hitchcock suspense thriller first, so keep that in mind.
Thank you gentlemen.
Any modern noir worth watching?
no
The Big Heat for a rec
there is no modern noir. its all thrillers and dramas

Touch of Evil. Orson Welles directs and plays a sleazy sheriff. Charleton Heston plays a mexican politician. Filmed in mexico, it's so seedy.
People will say i got the idea from the latest RLM re:view but my film teacher in high school told me it. We went from Chinatown to Roger Rabbit to see the similarities. Based fucking class
Under the Silver Lake is a neo noir. First 10 min are weak but once the mystery starts its kinokinokino
I thought this was shit.
Trouble is My Business is a fun homage.
If you just finished playing Max Payne, then watch some John Woo. After all, it's the password.
