maybe reserves are almost filled? noone is going to buy more gas if they can't stock it. also prices are still high as fuck

Basically the price started spiking due to runaway speculation on the energy market. Then crashed back down due to the EU declaring they're at 80% gas reserves and also that they're going to start regulating the energy market.

Germany announced that it's gas storage is filling way faster than expected and will hit 100% sometime around late September/early October and russian gas now only accounts for 10% of german gas imports.
