wait, didn't spain and portugal have the inquisition? i'm calling bullshit on this map

spaniards didn't accuse the jews of having magic power

Those borders have never existed. Wtf is this map?

Pretty sure inquisition is mostly for heretics.

>""""""""""""""Germany""""""""""""""""

Iberians were actually the rational ones back then. Dutch and English propagandists made it seem otherwise.

>alleged
they were found guilty of black magic in a court of law
deal with Satan and suffer the consequences

Most of what you know about the Spanish Empire history is british and dutch propaganda known as the Black Legend. Spain was actually the empire with most human rights back then, and the way they treated the viceroyalties was pretty good compared to what British and French did to the natives in their colonies. The inquisition wasn't nearly as brutal as the black legend implies. The protestant countries were much more fanatics and killed much more people for religious reasons than the catholic countries. We are just living in a anglo dominated world now, so outside Spain and some hispanoamerican countries you will find doctored and exaggerated history.

This is slowly happening in hispanoamerica too, sadly because the british are financing a movement called "indigenismo" to balcanize us even more. They already spread enough black legend with their financed mason fake ""libertators"" (vendepatrias)

>The protestant countries were much more fanatics and killed much more people for religious reasons than the catholic countries.
It didn't. Witch trials were most common in lands divided on religious lines as seen on this map and Germany specifically.

Tell me about Polish witches.

>british are financing a movement called "indigenismo" to balcanize us even more.
Same with black identity and Evangelical movements in Brazil.

Your shitty infographic says early modern area instead of era. At least put some level of effort into this

Just cheating polish whores getting what they deserve.

>Thousands were burned at the stake under Torquemada, the most notorious of the grand inquisitors, and tens of thousands were killed during the forced expulsion of Moriscos (Spanish Muslims who had been baptized as Christians) which began in 1609.
>The first grand inquisitor in Spain was the Dominican Tomás de Torquemada; his name became synonymous with the brutality and fanaticism associated with the Inquisition. Torquemada used torture and confiscation to terrorize his victims, and his methods were the product of a time when judicial procedure was cruel by design. The sentencing of the accused took place at the auto-da-fé (Portuguese: “act of faith”), an elaborate public expression of the Inquisition’s power. The condemned were presented before a large crowd that often included royalty, and the proceedings had a ritualized, almost festive, quality. The number of burnings at the stake during Torquemada’s tenure was exaggerated by Protestant critics of the Inquisition, but it is generally estimated to have been about 2,000.
