>Von diesem Moment an wusste ich Bescheid. Ich konnte nur noch ihn verstehen. Alle anderen Worte, die an mein Ohr gelangten, klangen wie das dissonante Quietschen eines verstimmten Instruments. Nun war klar, dass auch ich verkümmerte. Alle nutzlos gewordenen Dinge im Turmzimmer lösten sich allmählich auf. Eines Tages würde ich eins werden mit diesem Ort.
>Eines Tages würde ich eins werden mit diesem Ort.
Interesting sentence. Usually the verb werden would go at the end of the sentence, but rules are made to be broken

You can still switch it though.
Both ways work.

Interesting. Does this apply in general, or is it specify to this case of "eins werden". So for example, if i had another sentence: Er würde eines Tages ein Sklave seiner eigenen Begierde werden.

Could i rewrite it as, Er würde eines Tages ein Sklave werden seiner eigenen Begierde ?

How are you only just realising this now?
Read more. Germans always stick the second verb wherever they want.

You can't stick a verb between "Sklave" and "Begierde" because "Begierde" is contingent upon "Sklave".

If a Russian fella doesn't use akanye in his speech, it's a sign he's from Ukraine or something like that right?

Well, it depends. Ukrainians typically know how to use akanye, so it's likely that he is from an area in Russia that doesn't have it. Although dialectal variation in modern Russian is extremely limited.
If he has okanye but not hekanye, he's most likely Russian. If you know him personally, it's not a bad idea to just ask.

I don't think it's specific to 'eins werden' but maybe(?) to 'mit X Y werden/sein'. These work, too, for example:

>Eines Tages würde ich mit Anerkennung überhäuft werden.
>Eines Tages würde ich überhäuft werden mit Anerkennung.
or
>Eines Tages würde ich mit all meiner Mühsal fertig sein.
>Eines Tages würde ich fertig sein mit all meiner Mühsal.

Note that the examples with the verb not at the end usually sound more poetic.

Pretty good user, you still have the touch, I think you just need a soft recap on your studies and you are good. But why do you need to know Spanish? Don't they know how to speak English? Or it's to impress the store owners' daughter? Heh

quels livres en français as-tu lu ?

I really did not want to start learning classic Arabic. However, the only Arab teacher in my area who’s in good repute is a Quranic Arabic teacher. Do I bite the bullet here and find someone else farther from me or take on the challenge? The dilemma is that for every hour I spend driving is an hour I can’t dedicate to either learning or studying. I know my schedule is going to be tight next year because I start university. So I really don’t want to drive unnecessarily.
