No, cats are not an issue in my country however, there are two cats that live outside my apartment and people going in and out stop and pet them and shit which irks me a little because I’ve seen those cats running out of the dumpster I throw the garbage away in every night

My cat used to wake me up at 4am every night, because he learned that the earlier he woke me up, the higher the chances of him getting food.
It made me pretty angry but it was so funny that I couldn't stay mad for very long. Just waking up to a paw in the face and a small face looking at me waiting for the food.

i dont really see stray cats in my area so theyre not a problem

cars are useful and are not going anywhere.
But highways cutting right through city centers is not necessary. people can just drive the extra 5-10 minutes. And most parking lots can be eliminated in favor of parking garages. Underground or otherwise.
You can have a city where people can drive, walk and take the bus. It's not an either-or thing. but we can all agree cyclists are cancer and a pain for everyone else involved.

Things could have been seized and restored to former glory.
or replaced with less ugly archecture. like literally anything else form Americas past.
But no, we had to bulldoze large parts of our cities for what are essentially commie blocks that for the most part don't even exist anymore.
