That’s not how the rest of the world sees you, Charl. So it’s not too late. Have you ever noticed that third world countries respect you in diplomatic matters? The Germans are too weak to make demands, the world knows that the UK is a blatant American puppet and the rest of the west is too literally who to matter.
The reality on the ground may be different, but the world hasn’t caught on. That means it’s not to late.
Plus the French army is still far and away the most competent and capable on the continent. Nobody could compete. Just don’t let it get so bad that you find yourself being the next Germany.
