Is this still good or has it become a microtransaction/aids pit in the years since I've used it?

ok groomer

Flashcard programs and apps are the biggest meme and waste of time, second only to "learning" by passively consuming media.
There's no replacement for proper study of grammar. Memorizing vocabulary is secondary and pointless if you have no idea how the language works.

If you want to learn a language, use it. Read it. Write in it. Find someone to talk in it.

You better pay up if you want to use it

Go cry to your moms fag

learning grammar first is a dumb boomer meme that never worked and never will

They have a gay lesbian couple and an african girl as characters.
I find it motivational despite that. The way you can either progress or stay on a topic is good and the medal and achievement hunt as well. Can become addictive to the degree of caring more about the badges than actually getting knowledge sticking in your head however.

I thought polacks were trad and catholic
Doulingo requires you to write in the language you're learning
