I thought it was weaker than Hereditary desu, and honestly felt like Ari Aster was double-dipping on his obvious 70's horror movie homages, first with Rosemary's Baby and now with Midsommar, except Midsommar wasn't anywhere near as emotionally resonant as Hereditary and as a result it's hard to care about what's happening, because your entire cast of American tourists come off as one-note assholes
