>You have unlimited budget to make an AVP movie

So I wrote this in an hour or two, leaving it here. Minimal proofreading.

R&D animatronics to a never before seen level, better practicals and spend millions on props, weapons, choreography, practicing fights, costumes etc. Gigantic sets with thousands of people working on them, CGI when needed but whatever the best CGI there is, do that. Thousands of concept artists, worldbuilding etc.

Year 3000+. Weyland-Yutani has advanced to the stage where is its own breakaway civilization with an unlimited budget, seemingly endless personnel and androids. Unknown number of space stations and planets under their control. People from Earth travel and go to different star systems but Weyland-Yutani has always been there before, always the pioneer explorer and spacefarer. The only corporation that exists but no one knows who is calling the shots at the top. By the 30th century they've managed to experiment with dozens of colonies, perfecting their xeno weapons. The corporation is somewhere between a Kardashev I and Kardashev II scale civilization, and only a handful of people even suspect the real reach of WeYu, because of compartmentalization and use of androids.

The corporation has discovered multiple Predator worlds, but not yet their homeworld, and wants their technology and entire wealth of knowledge. WeYu have two COAs, either play the long game of secret talks, diplomacy, bartering; or the quicker route of waging war and taking whatever is left afterwards. Weyland-Yutani, whatever that is, wants to be the apex predator in the stars. They can be no other gods.

The Predator race are not blind to their expansion and capabilities however. During the centuries WeYu have developed tech and weapons to combat the Predators and they in turn have adapted their training, tech and tactics. Including but not limited to advanced cannons, various blades, cloaking, ECM, actual armor and forcefields are in their arsenal now.

The xenomorph has been engineered to be even tougher and faster and is an existential threat to the Predator race, if Weyland-Yutani decide to deploy it on their worlds.

Movie starts with extensive slow exposition, 10+minutes. Minimal to no dialogue, shots of different buildings, colonies, landing bays, planets, interspersed news segments, xenomorph experiments in progress and the aftermath of which, Work-In-Progress Dyson Spheres, workers, miners, robotics factories, Predator worlds and some of their equipment. Wide static shots, aerial shots, close ups, a dutch angle here and there, tracking shots.

The human characters are the crew of an exploration spacecraft, looking for precious metals, escorted by military craft. They're sent to a system that's suspected to have a Predator world in it, unbeknownst to any of the crews. The predators would fire immediately on the ships, if it wasn't bait to justify a military campaign. They cannot risk provocation so the human ships are allowed enter their territory, and they discover an alien space station in orbit of a planet. The warships are ordered to fire immediately but they refuse. A Predator ship decloaks less than a mile away, blocking their course, not moving. The crews have to figure out the situation that they're in, chaos and fights ensue. They have to connect all the dots, reverse the compartmentalization, pool their knowledge, aforementioned weird rumors and speculation about Weyland-Yutani, Xenomorphs, Predators and figure out how to diffuse the situation. These few dozen men and women are on a knives edge. If they provoke the "Yautja", they could hunt down every single human and genocide the entire human race, annihilating everything built by humans, all the way to Weyland-Yutani HQ, on Earth. The viewer learns this as soon as the characters realize it. [They could also have a ticking time bomb on their ship, xeno eggs planted beforehand.]

We terraform a planet, engineer predators and aliens, and film them fighting.

Diplomacy, conspiracy, spies, getting chased by WeYu spacecraft, escaping the system and falling back to a large space station with a population of 20,000 where they can scan databases for any relevant information, try to hack into top secret files on the space internet, contact people back on Earth to let them know what Weyland-Yutani are planning and figure out what to do next. The assassin warships get a fix on the exploration crews and immediately destroy the station's communication arrays, landing bays and deploy xenomorphs. Our original crew start documenting and recording what is happening and what they have learned so far.

[Another version of these events is that they don't go back to this station immediately, but make contact with the Predator ship and find a way to communicate in person. During this impromptu diplomatic meeting the Predator, in modernized gear and metal armor, shares what they know about WeYu and some exposition is shown on the screen. Proof of Xenomorph experimentation on humans, as in slaughter, human-xeno hybrid programmes, their numerous warships with armies, how far they've spread across the stars... No one says anything. "If they have done all this with our technology, if sacrificing their own is simply business," he looks around the ship and scans the predator top down, "we haven't seen anything yet." He gives them a databank with proof. As they leave a smaller unmasked predator is seen watching them, a child predator. The humans then go to the space station and the events above unfold]

Upon detecting the explosions the "Yautja" reach an understanding; and launch an all out offensive against all human and synthetic life in space, with priority on military installations , "scientific" ships and warships. Humans across the galaxy have to survive against Predators and xenomorphs that the corporation plants as a weapon against the Predator race to slow them down in key areas.

Fill out the war in your mind - some setpieces: space battles, space stations, military outposts, mining operations, colonies, planets, jungle planets, defending partially built Dyson spheres, 30th Century Earth, Predator Homeworld..

Advanced Predator, Better equipped marines, slightly evolved Xenomorph

This is part 1, but it could end before the Preds launch the attack

Part 2 would be our human characters trying to survive the onslaught, some marines go to defend different strategic objectives so the movie can follow them, there's a predator MC as well, and potentially an espionage type plotline inside Weyland-Yutani HQ, whatever is at its heart.

It's an alien and predator in a white room. One is voiced by Jordan Peterson and the other is Joe Rogan. It's a philosophical film about what it means to be an alien and what it means to be a predator. Absolutely no score.

Tl;dr

Sounds like a dumb movie, bro. And I didn't even read it.

Whoever wins, we're all taller.

I like the last line. I think I could just work with that.

Thanks for posting this autistic masterpiece, btw.

it was pretty fun to write

Which one is this from?

I'm actually looking forward to the Prey movie. There's a lot of potential there. I don't think it is going to be what most of us are expecting, either good, or bad, or otherwise.

He saved her from that bear. That's sticking with me until my hopes are dashed when it's finally revealed.

It follows on from end of alien convenant, the new world they arrive at is predators home world, david nurtures the alien embryos and starts breeding aliens, humans vs predators vs aliens blah blah stuff happens blah blah aliens blah blah blah predators blah dead humans with one scene a predator wearing the skin of a human while dancing in a mirror to a predator cover of goodbye horses

AVP 1 ending

>never release film
>infinite money
>federal government begging for bailout
>ignore them and shitpost on Any Forums

>you have unlimited budget to make AVP

Keep the money & invest it in something worthwhile that isn't a trash idea trying to cash in while destroying franchises that could make infinitely more cash than your shitty one-off "genius cinema" script.

It would basically be the Aliens sequel that I always wanted, but also a Predator sequel set in the deep future. The overall theme would be a clash between civilizations, and a creature that has no civilization at all (the xenomorphs).

Humans have essentially gone from being prey for the Yautja to being an existential threat because our technology is advancing so rapidly compared to theirs. The Yautja have been using mostly the same tech for thousands of years with little changes here and there, but humans have gone from basically cattle to having weapons and space machines that rival those of the Yautja in the same amount of time. Their traditional hunting grounds are being colonized and terraformed by humans and they are being pushed further and further back towards their homeworld.

I don't really have a specific story in mind but that's the state I see the galaxy being in at the time the movie starts. The predator / prey dynamic between humans and yautja has changed drastically to the point where the yautja fear possibly being hunted by humans in the future, and then you have a xenomorph crisis that becomes the catalyst for the two cultures to run into each other head on.

Well put, thanks for adding some structure

Something I would like to see is an AvP movie with no human involvement, and only featuring alien dialog. With or without subtitles, but for a better challenge in terms of visual storytelling, without.
And I'd make it about the trials of a Yautja initiative when he first starts off, and then by the end of his "career", when he's become an Elite and killed his first Alien Queen.
