How do you anons feel about 'learning' terms with multiple readings, especially if they don't change the conveyed meaning a lot? Maybe it isn't so simple, but sometimes I'll see terms like 草木 (そうもく/くさき) or 飛沫 (ひまつ/しぶき) and not be so sure what to think regarding the reading, especially if there are furigana that suggest a less common reading. Maybe the differences are clearer by context with many words, but I'm starting to think it's just a case of common preference with others, perhaps to do with 音読み/訓読み differences. I can still read through whatever it is and understand it, but juggling that readings business can be a bit awkward to handle.
