bait but watch 12 angry men
zoomer
On a morning for a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
Contemplating a crime
Go watch Fellini, Rosselini, de Sica, and Antonioni instead.
Let me guess, you also think that Adam Sandler is funny.
This scene is great though
Why are thirdies so anti-culture?
i tried watching this but couldn't stand how they made the black piano player so subservient. during the scene where he tries to get the white guy to leave (the second scene, when the bar closed down) they made him go full on yassa boss i couldn't watch it anymore
>nazis bad
kys
You've got a good conscience for a 4channer, but you are being overly sensitive
hacks
>Fellini
The first name and you fucked it up already.
How so?
What did I fuck up? Or are you ragging on Fellini?
oldest film i've enjoyed was metropolis. you should check it out!
>Watch blade runner
It's shit
>Watch Scarface
It's meh
>Watch Breakpoint
It's pretty cool
>Watch once upon a time in America
It's utter shit
There are a lot of american movies I enjoy but they are from the 90's
Like what?
True.
The worst being Dr Strangelove
Gladiator, saving private Ryan, Heat, Breakpoint like I said, etc.
Normie pleb taste
What about France? You guys used to create kino in the 80s and 90s.
>watch American movie

old european movies are the bomb
Heat was great, Goodfellas too. You would probably like Barton Fink, Boogie Nights, and Misery; all from the 90s
60s and 70s too. New wave and Left Bank directors
Probably the earliest I enjoyed a lot (1948)
saw Rope the other day
80min. I've slept twice
Bill Maher exposes the stupidity of Casablanca

Time Stamp : 29:28
every year is the year of the cat tho
cringe
you're supposed to think about what you're seeing. the people, the architecture, their outfits, their vocabulary. it's literally time travel in visual form
12 angry men aged great, watch that
Commie garbage
I don't understand how people hate commie shit but stroke themselves over owning this marxist tripe and reviewing it on letterbox or whatever. Soviet movies are less communist than this shit.
French film industry is really developed, wish they made more shit like Taxi, funniest thing is when Americans adopt French movies and make them into these shitshows of popular past-prime actors and racial politics.
also free from modern politics, shot on film, less profane. old movies are mind cleansing
Guys should I watch satantango alone or with a friend? It's an 8 hour hungarian movie from the 90s
Do you only know popular trash like Lullaby of Broadway, Casablanca, and what Breakfast at Tiffany's? What are your real favorites?
Alone, watch "Out 1" with a friend
Underrated funny spanic
you should watch Cars (2006)
>shot on film
You wouldn't even notice if someone put side by side shots of digital (with post) and film.
consider yourself filtered, faggot
>Do you only know popular trash like Lullaby of Broadway, Casablanca, and what Breakfast at Tiffany's? What are your real favorites?
Why do I have to be a film aficionado??
I genuinely stumbled on Lullaby of Broadway by filtering a website to movies made before 1960 and clicked the first one. I haven't even looked it up on imdb, wiki, or letterboxd and I don't think I will.
My parents would show me old movies and I'd watch begrudgingly but now I've recently started watching a few by choice because they're relaxing. I only watch like 1 movie per month
