i tried to watch some star trek after next generation but i always thought it sucked. voyager was close to not sucking but not quite. watched 1 jarjar star trek movie on fast forward basically. the whole franchise is too tired . i did watch one or 2 episodes of galactica inspired star trek show with the weird looking klignons; i liked their politics around having ancient ships sort of as if they were a castle or something that was cool but they fucked up too much everything else. i am done with it and i am ok with it.
tv series For all mankind actually is doing what star trek was doing at first, inspire people about humanism , participism and faith in technological and scientific progress used for humanist values. and what not.
