Using a time machine to change the past is the biggest sign of low IQ. First off, you’d be erasing yourself from history. Pointless question. Even if you could travel back in time you couldn't change anything you want to change because if you change it you break the chain of causality that changed it because you never travelled back in time to change it and it doesn't get changed.

I'm not a specialist, but wouldn't that kinda still be the same timeline, only changing the route?
Like a line, A (past event) to B (where you time travel), then you timetravel to A, change events, and the line would divert to C, but in the end the complete line be A > B > A > C, a timeline where you timetravel once and then everything changes accordingly? I'm sorry if I don't make myself clear.
