Non Americans, do you remember 9/11? How did you feel? Did you care? Were you afraid of what America's reaction would be in revenge?

Didn't think much of it back then, I was 8

I wrote on the walls with marker, later that day parents were watching the tv and of course my mom had to take the opportunity to say "now look what happened, because you could not behave"
for a while I thought it happened in Köln

I was getting ready for school when it happened, it was the only thing that everybody talked about on that day.

Yeah I was playing Infantry Online and people were talking about it in the chat.
I thought it was kinda cool that something big happened and I got to watch it live. Didn't make me feel much. I wasn't "afraid" of American bombing the shit out of the Middle East, I welcomed it.

When you say you welcomed it do you mean like you think America would be justified in doing so? Or you just don't like the middle east in general?

Yeah, I remember it slightly. I was in 4th grade.
They took everyone out of school and people were told to stay at home etc.
We didn't know what else to expect.
More attacks? If so, what kind and where?
We didn't know really what happened until we found out it was truly a terror attack,
I assumed we would nuke the fuck out of whoever did it.
Instead, we spent like 20 years bombing their countries.

2000 fag here, I was too young to remember it but a friend of mine who was born the same year as me but earlier told me that he remembers that when he was very small and his parents were watching TV they suddenly were very shocked at what they saw, maybe it was 9/11, we will never know for sure.

i remember everyone being so angry it was like we were bees and the kill pheromone was released. The amount of unity and collective anger was insane, we were ready to fuck shit up
