I was like most of the men who post on these boards; anime-watching, video-game-playing, shut-ins who are too depressed to do anything, probably incels, hate themselves, and make plans to do things but never get started on them, feeling remorse at the end of each day realizing how they just procrastinated again. Only thing, I was slightly better off because I wasn't a NEET and had something that at least resembled a social life.
Now? I don't feel like shit any more. I've learned to love myself. I no longer procrastinate endlessly and actually get shit done when I set out to do it. I also make future plans because I see myself having a future now. And my general mood isn't in the toilet like it usually was. I just feel better, most of the time, all around.
