Orville.

Orville > SNW

Seth Mcfarlane is a grooming sex offender
If he wasn't, why did Halston decide on leaving once the relationship inevitably fell apart.

Orville, only watched first 5 mins of strange, after discovery season 3 episode 1, a Star Trek show gets up to 15 minutes to prove itself.

SNW mogs Snoreville.

Homo

Neutral appreciator of Trek-like entertainment here. I'm gonna have to give it to Strange New Worlds. I just can't abide Seth McFarlane's office dramady that literally had a gay porn episode.

Also, this

reminder disney owns the whoreville

Orville

Last thread wasn't even a debate. Both sides sound like crybaby pussy liberal faggots and now Any Forums won't watch either show.

Nice job shills!

digits confirm Orville > SNW

Seriously, Seth's and first officer's performance this season were rather lackluster. They also don't get a lot of good lines to work with. They feel like supporting characters in their own show. In the first two eps, only Cassidy Yates really had time to shine, the others stayed rather bland. Atthe same time, all characters in SNW got more characterization in the first half of the season than any other live action nutrek characters after several seasons.

Right looks like he should be dancing to showtunes or singing in a barbershop quartet with other gaymen. And the female looks like the kind of female with boyhips. Bros on the left look like they fuck chicks.

Why is SNW flopping?

because it's shit.

bros on the left have no chicks

Orville >>>>> CBS crap since 5 years.

>I have the money
>I control the "critics" voice
>Please don't elaborate on our stupid stories, instead make a bunch of papers about our new non binary character

Kurtzman's Fake Trek is Soros agenda made dumb.

It isn't. It's going from strength to strength.

It's flopping its dick on Orville's face after raping it in the ass.

It’s terrible.

They wasted opportunity to put a different spin on Orville and are doing inferior knock-off. Granted I don't know what the hell nutrek is even doing anymore.

what are you talking about?

Only transhumanist scum, blue-haired whales and Bill Gates fellows watch SNW.

They each have literally two women so far.

Its both, you're just having an underdog supporter syndrome.
>n-n-no orville has less budget so it feels more natural!!!

>What was the best Orville ep to date?
My favourites are S01E04, S01E10, S01E12, S02E03, S02E06, S02E07, S02E11
>Everything until now felt like a retread of old trek tropes
This is a good thing, not a bad thing. The best thing an actual successor to Trek could do is if it retread old Trek tropes (which tend to be universal messages and timeless moral lessons, and aren't even original to Trek itself as they were common tropes in speculative fiction decades before TOS). If VOY or ENT managed to emulate TNG as well as Orville did, they'd be looked back on even more fondly.
>You can trace everything back to a trek ep from TOS or the 90s
You can trace them farther back than that, to old science fiction. Try actually reading for once. Read some Ray Bradbury.
>Same with SNW. People get infected, people visit a cool planet that harbors a dark secret etc. etc.
SNW copies the plot outline then decides to fill in the blanks with pointless character drama. Note that drama in this sense is used in a derogatory way because truly good scripts like The Drumhead from TNG are purely dramatic, but what makes them good is that it's well written, has good dramatic pacing, and keeps the superficial interpersonal drama to a minimum.
>Characters are quippy present day people in both shows.
Orville's superior writing actually makes it less quippy than SNW. The only thing it shares with 'quippiness' is the brevity of character dialogue, which in itself doesn't make a quip. What it does is cut through the fat and log and gets straight to the point with the dialogue. SNW does a similar thing as PIC in how you have these long meandering pieces of dialogue that don't really say anything, occasionally broken by a quip from Uhura, Ortega, Pike, Spock, or Number One.

Orville >>>>>>>>>>> SNW

confirmed for never watching a single SNW episode

>The Absolute Stone Cold Chads
vs.
>Cucked Hubby and His Cunt Ex-Wife

Not a hard choice. Strange New Worlds it is.

I'll give an example of SNW's 'long, drawn out meandering dialogue saying nothing' from the most recent episode of SNW since I've wiped out my memory of each of the other crap episodes almost as soon as I was finished them.

In this latest episode you have MULTIPLE scenes of Pike flirting and reminiscing with that alien lady. This is all pointless dialogue that amounts to "hey, remember when we have a rapport?". And that's literally all their dialogue amounts to. It has nothing to do with the central plot, it's just them flirting and reminiscing. No one enjoys this shit except wine aunts.

My propaganda brainwashing space soap opera is better than your propaganda brainwashing space soap opera

Orville > SNW > PIC > TNG = TOS

Orville
>forced humor
>cant act
>good sound
>good filmmaking
>nice ships
>characters are mostly unlikable

Star Trek
>good writing
>good acting
>sound is meh
>filmmaking is nice
>shitty ships
>characters are libable

Yeah, it kind of even, but I prefer Star Trek. Wish we would get a new Battlestar.
