While the 5 second attention span thing is bad, you guys are completely glossing over the real problem: TikTok is (a product of) a Chinese corporation. Chinese corporations are by law forced to share their user data with the government. You think that Facebook and Google having all your information is bad? TikTok is that PLUS they're handing over that information to the CCP.
Not just that, the CCP version also filters out things like OnlyFans thots and instead promotes videos deemed appropriate, with themes like "look at these workers working hard! Praise the CCP!" or "look at this wholesome family and their family values! Praise the CCP!". This allows the CCP to collect data from Chinese citizens just like from the rest of the world, but without promoting the degeneracy that undermines foreign societies.
Having good reflexes and a short attention span are not the same. They may even to an extent be mutually exclusive, as a short attention span means being unable to pay attention.
