Historical inaccuracies in movies/tv

I'll start us off with Band of brothers.
Episode 1:
>liebgott was not a jew
Episode 2:
>guarnere did the most shooting but missed all of his shots at brecourt manor
>nearly all the dead germans were killed by winters, he killed most of them while they were wounded during the assault
>blithe survived the war
Episode 3:
>at carentan winters didn't get the men moving, it was another guy who did it for him
>the 101st was only facing off against 1 machine gun & 1 mortar not multiple
>no one was running around they simply just fired rifle grenades & bazookas at the krauts
>americans were only killed by mortars nothing else
>the krauts weren't mowed down fleeing, the yanks simply fired 2 rifle grenades and then left
>during the bloody gulch mutts hid behind hedges
>german stug simply got stuck in a hedge and then was blown up
Cont.

Episode 4:
>the 2 british tanks at nuenen were destroyed due to winters advice on where to advance, not due to bong pompous incompetence
Episode 5:
>before winters shot the young german, both men throw grenades at each other
Episodes 6-8:
>eugene and renee most likely never met
>dike removed after being wounded not because of cowardice
Episodes 9-10:
>concentration camp scenes were apparently filled with inaccuracies
>the 101st did not make it to the eagle’s nest first
>winters didn’t refuse the german officers luger
Other things:
>most of the german units the 101st faced were not elite ss or paratroopers but instead conscripts which had their ranks filled with boys and old men

Band of Brothes is 100 percent accurate. God Bless Tom Hanks. God Bless America. Staying seething, yurofags.

ITT: bong cope

Counterpoint: It's really, really good television.

OP"s life:

He has never been truly loved or valued by anyone

>not due to bong pompous incompetence
objectively false

Only that many in 10 1 hour + episodes? Wow this is probably the most accurate historical depiction in history then.

I remember reading Donald Malarkey's book and he said after watching the premiere of this series at a theater with the other guys he got really disoriented and ended up wandering into a bad neighbourhood before getting picked up by some of the people from the premiere. It was kinda vague, but it seemed like seeing his life story fictionalized like this bothered him in some way.

>dies of a neck wound
>comes back from the dead for the company's 20th reunion
Was he Jesus?

>mutts can't accept reality
Is this why they love capeshit?

I also remembering hearing that a lot of the guys disliked Webster because he overly dramatic. i think it was either Malarkey or Winters who mentioned being annoyed at Webster shouting "I'm hit!" after he sustained a flesh wound to the leg. They said he thought he was in a movie or something and were annoyed he got a spotlight episode in the series.

>concentration camp scenes were apparently filled with inaccuracies
>obvious is obvious

Montgomery stopped his armored column so he could have tea while british 1st airborne was getting torn to shreds

britbong command almost cost us the war

user, nobody cares about this, and the people that do already know and expect shows to not be 100% accurate otherwise the pacing would've been horrible, people would've gotten confused/bored/uninterested and the production cost would've mostly not be worth it, now shut up and stop wasting thread space.

>no mention of Spiers
So all that shit happened huh

>winters didn’t refuse the german officers luger
i understand changing the other things for dramatic effect or creative license or w/e but why'd they change this?
also what would you do in that situation Any Forums?

The massacre happened earlier than depicted and was mostly thought of as a rumour amongst the men. It didn't happen to the German American soldier either, that was a different event and the guy lived.

>concentration camp scenes were apparently filled with inaccuracies
Can you elaborate on these? How is such a thing possible??

Now let's have a look at what really happened during Operation market garden:
>be us officer james gavin of the 82nd airborne
>only job is to take the nijmegan bridge
>get scared of le spooky forest near by
>be convinced that there's germans there
>start shelling said forest instead of taking the bridge
>krauts simply take the bridge instead
>bongs are now fully cut off at arnhem and get crushed
>but it's ok because monty has your back
>everyone starts randomly blaming the poles for the failure instead of you
>get off scot free without anyone realising for decades
>and as icing on the cake...there was not even a single kraut in that forest
So James Gavin not doing his job properly is somehow the fault of the British?
You mutts should kissing Monty's grave for throwing the Poles under the bus and also not exposing American officers as the incompetent retards that they were

You forgot
>Sirhan Sirhan was wrongfully convicted for the murder of Robert Kennedy

>being wrong to this day

why do bongoloids seethe so much about mutts?

Fag bongs got BTFO in weeks and only by the grace of Hitler (who had a weird Anglo fetish) were not annihilated at Dunkirk. Then the U.S. let you losers tag along for the European liberation and LARP that you won something. Go brush your teeth you limey fuckwit.
